  1. How many seasons a pool is exploitable?
  2. If the pool is regularly maintained, properly cleaned and stored for winter, sharp objects are not left inside or outside the pool, it will extend its life several seasons.
Do not climb to the pool with jewelry, earrings, rings, sunglasses, watches - every little item can damage the bottom of the pool or inflatable ring and get into the filtration system.
All precautions ensure the durability of the pool.

  3. Can pets swim in pool?
  4. No. Dogs, cats and other pets must be kept away from the pool. Pool walls or inflatable pool ring may be scratched.

  5. How much air should be blown up the inflatable pool ring?
  6. Do not over inflate or use high-pressure air compressors. Inflate top ring to be slightly stiff to the touch. An over-inflated ring heated by the sun may burst or lead to leaks in the seam. Pay attention to air temperature variation! In cold ambient temperature the top ring will lose some pressure, air will contract. If this occurs, do not add air since the air inside will expand again once the temperature rises. In hot weather, the air will expand. You must let some air out to prevent the top ring from failing due to excess internal pressure.
  7. On what surface pool should be built?
  8. Pools can be set up on grass, compacted dirt, or pavement that is completely flat, level and stable. A ground cloth or tarp is recommended for under the pool. The pool should not be set up on sand or muddy ground that could possibly shift. It is not recommended to be set up on wooden decks, balconies or elevated platforms. Do not drag the liner across the concrete, as abrasions will cause holes.

  9. Is it safe to lean over the pool's inflatable top ring?
  10. No. Do not allow any pool occupants (even small children) to lean over, lie down, or sit on the inflatable top ring. This will cause instability in the pool wall and cause the water to flood over the side of the pool.
  11. Can pool be left outside all year round?
  12. No. At temperatures below zero, vinyl pool walls may freeze and crack. Pool must be stored indoors under highter temperature in a box before it is completely dried.

  13. How to maintain a pool?
  14. Pool wears out if not maintained. Properly maintain a pool, keep the proper pH level. For a long time uncared pool may crack and unexpectedly spill thousands of gallons of water.
After each use wipe an inflatable ring with a damp cloth, once a week clean the pool bottom and sides with pump. After each use, leave the pool to filter of 3, 4 hours (up to 8 hours), covered with cover. The filter pump will clean water mechanically from sand, insects, etc. To make water clean from microorganisms we recommend to use Intex cleaning system - Chlorine Generator, Ozone and Chlorine Generator or chlorine. Depending on the features of water in order to improve the water quality water softeners or clarification agents may be added.

  15. How to use chlorine?
  16. If you are using chlorine to clean water stay out of the pool until all the agents melts in water. Chlorine granules or tablets should be melted before usage in a separate utensil then just poured to the water. If not properly melted they could settle on the bottom and may harm the pool. Pour liquid chlorine directly into the pool but soon after stir the entire area thoroughly. Do not pour chemicals if there are people in the pool.
  17. How to clean a pool?
  18. If you want to clean the pool outside, use a soft cloth and a weak active chemical agents, best of all soft soap. Do not use products containing abrasive particles, washing powder, brush. Try to clean the dirt carefully not to allow it to taint the pool water. Clean the bottom of the pool with a pump of maintenance kit. The bottom must be smooth, wrinkle-free in order to pump out the sediment more efficiently and quickly. Attach skimmer to the wall of pool it will help to catch leaves and other debris. We highly recommend Deluxe Pool Maintenance Kit or Auto Pool Cleaner.
  19. How to check water quality in the pool?
  20. To test water quality it is recommended to use a kit of test stripes. PH in water is tested by putting a test strip into the water. This test should be made once a week or more often if you use a swimming pool intensively. Recommended pH level is 7.2-7.8 pH. A test indicates a general water alkalinity, pH, consistency of chlorine.

  21. How often should the water be changed?
  22. If properly filtered and chemically balanced, the pool water should last through a summer season. You can reduce the need for water changes by keeping your pool covered when not in use, testing the water regularly to ensure proper chemical balance, operating the pump for an adequate number of hours each day, keeping the filter pump cartridge clean and replacing the cartridge when needed.
  23. Does the heat affect a pool?
  24. Many pools are affected by heigh temperature. A PVC fabric of Intex pools is manufactured with UV inhibitors to delay the degradation caused by sunlight that is why a heat does not affect these pools much.

  25. How long does it take to fill the pool with water?
  26. Two or more hours, depending on pool size, hose size and water pressure. Remember to observe the fill up process for several minutes to make sure that the pool is filling evenly and that it is on the flat surface.

  27. Is it safe to jump or dive into the pool off of a ladder or any type of platform?
  28. No. Ladders are just for climbing up or down the pool. Under no circumstances should anyone jump or dive into the pool. Intex does not distribute any pools that are deep enough to allow such activity. Serious injury or death could result from failure to follow these rules.

  29. What material is the pool made of?
  30. SUPER-TOUGH™ laminated sidewalls of pools are triple strong – 3 separate layers of material for extra strength and durability - two outer layers of heavy gauge PVC laminated to an inner layer of polyester mesh for extra reinforcement.

  31. Is there a repair patch enclosed for liner repair?
  32. Yes in most sets. Small tears or holes can be repaired with the enclosed repair kit. The surface should be clean and dry before affixing the patch.

  33. Сan the water in pool be warmed up by use of solar mat?
  34. Yes. This new solar technology increases the temperature of the pool water by approximately 3-5C. Water running through the heating element returns to pool heated. The heater is connected to the filter pump, consequently water gets filtered and falls directly into the pool already heated.

  35. Can a pool frame be collapsed?
  36. Before you start to assemble a frame swimming pool, smooth a ground surface. The vertical frame legs must stand firmly to prevent sinking into the ground and thus to dismantle a whole structure.
  37. What is important to know filling the pool with water?
  38. Pour a little water in the pool, unwrinkle the bottom, flatten properly. Later if cleaning the bottom with pump, wrinkles give much trouble to suck, moreover it is difficult to adjust the bottom of the pool filled with water, in this case the pool may have even be emptied and remounted again. The more you straighten and flatten the pool, the more firm it will stay.
  39. Guarantee for pools
